Welcome to The Classic Physique 12-Week Training Program - a meticulously designed system rooted in time tested bodybuilding principles, biomechanics, and scientific research. This program is structured using the same training framework I’ve refined over years of experience to develop aesthetic muscularity, symmetry, and balanced proportions.
The central objective is to build a physique that embodies the Classic or ideal male aesthetic - broad shoulders, a well developed chest, a wide, dense back, and a tapered waist, complemented by strong, well proportioned legs and calves. This is the foundation of the “golden era” physique, emphasising size, symmetry, and flow.
To achieve this, the program follows a high frequency, intelligently periodised approach, training each major muscle group twice per week. This structure is based on scientific literature supporting optimal hypertrophy, neuromuscular adaptations, and recovery cycles, ensuring continuous progress without compromising balance or overtraining.
While the core framework is designed for balanced, full body development, every physique is unique. If you have lagging muscle groups or areas that are disproportionately developed, this program provides flexible volume adjustments allowing you to strategically increase focus on weaker areas while scaling back dominant muscle groups as needed.
